This shop is a culmination of a dream. I have finally been able to put together the shop I have always wanted to have. My shop is a love letter to famous magicians that came before me and the magic shops that shaped this industry. Come in and see the magic 'art' on the walls, including an original pencil sketch by Harry Blackstone Sr. This shop is all about the new, ready to learn, future magician. I have hand picked every trick in the store, with the beginner and hobbyist magician in mind. I have tricks and kits geared directly to any age group 5 years and up. I also have easy to perform, professional effects, as well. Come visit and I will demonstrate and teach you the tricks you want. There is truly something for everyone in this shop. A Little About Me
I started learning about this industry at age 12. Now, with over 50 years in entertainment, primarily magic and more than 30 years in the retail magic and teaching space, there are not many people more qualified to help you get started or continue learning 'The Art Of Magic'. I have worked, performed and taught in, over a dozen different magic shops across the country. Specializing in classic and beginner effects, I can help you find the perfect magic tricks for any age group. This is my specialty. This is what I love. In fact, throughout my career, I have sold, well over, $2 million in magic tricks, so I know I can help you find the perfect tricks and effects for you. Come in and see me.

The Peoria Magicians Assembly
This club of magicians, both professional and hobbyists, has been meeting in Peoria and surrounding communities for decades. For the past 15 years, we have done a yearly show at The Peoria Expo Gardens. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at Avalon's Magic Emporium. Please come and join us. This building is located a couple of blocks north of the foot of the Cedar Street Bridge. If you are traveling south on SW Washington, this is what you'll see as you pass by. Just beyond this building, you are going to turn right into a parking lot.

Just past 'The Mill', you'll notice some old abandoned railroad tracks that run between 'The Mill' building and The Dooley Brothers building. Just turn right into the parking lot here and follow the tracks into our lot.

As you follow the tracks into the parking lot, you can park wherever there is space, ensuring you are courteous to others. If there is space, parking against the block wall is perfect. You can park against the building or wherever you can find space. It's tricky, I know.

Once you've parked, look in the corner of the building next to the Pottery Studio; you'll see a green door. That is 'The Magic Door,' through this door is where you can witness incredible magic demonstrations and explore a variety of retail magic items.

Once you reach 'The Magic Door', look for the sign that says 'The Magician is in.' It will be located just below the 'Artist Studios' sign. If you see this sign on the door, just call the shop number on it, and I'll come out to let you in. At this point, you are just seconds away from experiencing some incredible magic demonstrations.
